Objective: Provide The Home Depot with a mobile app for young new home owners.
Execution: We decided to create an app as a game. Our team wanted to motivate the audience by making basic home repair fun. To do so, we branded our app with bright colors, badges, icons, and rewards. The app provided step-by-step instructions on multiple categories so the user could pick their learning topic and go at their own pace.
Team: Morgan Thomas, Haleigh Houde, Karen Shahan, Rachel Shearer – I worked on building icons, creating promotional mockups and creating the game's user flow within the guilds.
We created in-store elements to support the app such as floor decals, posters, interactive stations, and re-branded sections.
